    Jeff Garcia is GONE!

Jeff Garcia is going to Florida - not to swim with the Dolphins of Miami but rather to jump on Coach Jon Gruden’s Buccaneer ship in Tampa Bay, which won the Super Bowl two seasons ago.

Garcia’s signing will be announced early this week at a press conference in Tampa Bay, where the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback will ink a three- or four-year deal between $15 million and $20 million, according to Jeff’s father, Bobby Garcia.

“He’s going to Florida,” said Bobby in a phone conversation late Sunday night. “This is a fresh start. He’s going in there with guns drawn, fully loaded. He’s going to give it his best shot. He said, ‘Dad, I’m totally committed now. This is a new step in my life.’ ”

The team would not confirm or deny the deal Monday morning. A spokesman for the Buccaneers said no press conference had been scheduled.

                    Jeff Garcia

it says on ESPN that Garcia has an agreement with the Cleveland Browns, also in The Insider it says Vincent to sign with Cinci and Taylor with Seattle, not that I wanted Garcia cause I didn't but it helps that he went to the Browns could very well effect who we draft, but with Vincent god I had hoped we would have signed him.

TV has judged that we are not closer to a SB than Cincy is. Wow! Eye opening!!

Likely marking an end to the Tim Couch Era after just five seasons, the Cleveland Browns on Monday night reached a contract agreement with former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jeff Garcia, ESPN.com has learned.

Well, they will only have 2. They plan on cutting Couch. This opens up the possibilty of Ben falling and almost gauruntees Rivers being there at 13.
