Darcy finally made a trade!!

Darcy sent a 4th rounder in 2005 to Minnesota for defenseman Brad Brown and a 6th rounder in 2005. It's not a very big trade, and Brown probably won't see much ice, if any at all, since he has only played 30 games for the Wild this year. But it's better than nothing.

I'm pretty excited just because this is the first new face on the sabres all season, even though I doubt it will help us very much in our playoff quest. Hopefully Darcy is just getting started.

Yeah, I've been thinking that McKee seems like a candidate that other teams might like because he has a bit of playoff experience.

How many months did Darcy jerk off before he pulled this one? Better than nothing seeing we have an injured 40 yr old defenseman, but it's not nearly enough.

Interesting deal, although I don't see it helping immediately, either. It is definitely a need, though, to see the team obtaining blueline help.

at least we didn't lose anything. A fourth rounder is basically the same as a third rounder in the NHL draft. Pretty much anything outside of the top five overall picks is just a guess.

Believe it or not, Brad Brown is one of my favorite players. He started with the Hawks. As the pictures show, he won't back down from anybody. He's the tough defenseman we've needed for years.
