We're replacing Ruben Brown with Jamie Nails? That's like replacing Julia Roberts with Mimi from the Drew Carey Show.

He's better than Puccillo.
And, he'd likely just be depth, imo.

just the fact of having back in buffalo is wrong!

Wasn't Nails the strongest lineman in his respective draft?

In all fairness, Nails' career was all but over and then he got himself into much better playing shape than when he was in Buffalo. He turned out to be pretty good with the Phins. If he can keep it up and gets by some injuries, he may not be a bad pickup.

I'm for having a veteran backup lineman.

In all honesty, he does fit what Jim McNally said was the trend: big interior lineman to cope with all the huge Ted Washington type DTs that are the coming fashion in the NFL. He got better in Miami. He still is not too old. Maybe with McNally coaching him he could be better still. Stranger things have happened.

Couldn't have said it better my self. He started in Miami and they did sweep us this year. He Blocked for Ricky, I say he is good enough to Block for TH

I don't see how us exploring the Nails option could hurt - especially when we consider the current apparent alternative Mike Pucillo.

Actually, we have veteran G Chris Villarrial to take over at RG but Nails could be a strong backup or compete with Sullivan for Ruben's old spot.

Didn't they also say that the Bills were very interested in Damien Woody and the OT from St. Louis, who was already tagged....Orlando Pace.
