All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I would go with a tradedown and pickup a cornerback If we could get the QB we wanted. We could also pick up an additional 2nd rd pick. Address reciever and Quarterback.
I would love to trade down from #13 since after the top 6 (Eli, Big Ben, Taylor, Gallery, Fitzgerald and Mike Williams) the next 15+ picks are about at the same tier.
With that said I would like Rivers, Roy Williams, Winslow, Tommie Harris, Chris Gamble or Will Poole with our first rd pick. I only like Gamble or Poole if we trade down.
To answer the actual question asked, being probable that these players might be around instead of saying Winslow even though he would be long gone, it would be Rivers, Udeze, either M or R Williams. In that order.
Buy land in AK now. In ten years due to global warming, it will be the new tropical paradise, minus the tropics
QB - The Bills have obviously shown interst in other QBs like Henson and Volek that they do not want to use that 13th pick on a QB.
HB - Of course not
TE - I think they would tinker with the idea if Winslow falls to them at 13, but I don't think they are expecting him to.
WR - There has been zero interest in any WR in FA and they I feel they think the loss of Price is one of the reasons the offense struggled last season. With that the team has to know they need to upgrade that position. This draft has five top caliber receivers in it.
OL - I think the team feels it can upgrade this area through FA or in the 2nd round.
DE - This is a possibility. It isn't a very deep position in this years draft and there are only two possible impact players.
DT - If Tommie Harris falls to them I see the Bills jumping on him, but other than that they have to feel comfortable with what is on their team.
LB - A very solid unit, no need to pick anyone in the draft here
CB - If the team cannot land a guy they are comfortable with I can see them trading down and trying to land DeAngelo Hall or Chris Gamble. Not only will they look to have a solid corner but also have a great return guy.
S - Any depth needed here will be sough after in the later rounds.
Originally posted by texasphinsfan the OL market is extremely thin right now, and IMO that is what you need the most. I would address that first.
Its like building a car - yeah a big motor is a plus, but you have to have wheels to allow it to roll first...
What's up texasphin?
Our O-line and QB are much better than they looked last year. We have a line that's better for run-blocking, but Kildrive called passing plays every down. We now have McNally on board to coach the o-line, and Wyche to coach Bledsoe. Also, Mularkey has stated that we will run the ball down opponent's throats. In Mularkey's first year as OC of the Steelers(2001), he had the #1 rushing offense--with 2 mediocre backs. He'll do wonders with Henry and McGahee
