We should try for Renaldo Hill

He is 25 years old. He had 5 interceptions last year despite starting just 13 games. He is a RFA but he was tendered the minimum amount at $628,000 and the compensation would be a 7th round pick.

He would be good competition for McGee and at the least a very solid nickel back.

    Here are his stats:

Here is an article about him and his FA status

A RFA might be something for TD to look at to supplement what we have in McGee and Thomas. It's a good idea actually

He would be a guy to replace Sidney not Winfield. I would want him if he was an UFA not a RFA.

Yeah you're right on that but I think a rookie CB could have the same impact as Hill IMO.

If we don't get Vincent it is pretty much assumed that we will have downgraded at that CB spot unless some player has an amazing break through year.

Looking at Hill though would be to minimize our losses. Devin brings up a good point that we got a 7th rounder for Gary. If we don't get Vincent TD should really look into this guy.

Maybe, but i'd prefer to take the guy with experience, unless you are thinking of going for a CB in the 1st 3 rounds. Then it may pay off to draft one.

What if we went after Charles woodson I know he was franchised and would have to give up a 1st round pick and would have to be paid top 5 at cb but I think he's worth it and heck next years 1st for him would be ok cause it'll be in between 23 and 32, just a thought

I like the Idea of Hill. I don't know about woodsen! WE could do that but there rest of teem stays as is because he took up the rest of our cap space! .... Hill could be great though!

                      - I remember watching objects fly in my house Jan. 27th 1991 (XXV) as Scott Norwood missed, But I remember holding hands in my living room as Steve Christie scored three points to cap a 35 point comeback victory with Frank Reich at the Helm.

think of it this way...if the bills are on the clock in the 7th round, and renoldo hill was still on the board (hypothetical obviously) would you take him? I would.

On paper he seems like an obvious alternate choice. Anyone see him play?

Giving up a 7th rounder is not the problem. Constructing a contract Arizona won't match is the problem. They have a ton more cap room than we do.
