All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
"Free agent cornerback Troy Vincent is going to make his decision on Friday or Saturday, according to the Trenton Times. Vincent will choose between Buffalo, Cincinnati or Kansas City. He says he liked all three visits. " - CBS Sportsline.com Rumor Mill Updated 3/12/04

- I remember watching objects fly in my house Jan. 27th 1991 (XXV) as Scott Norwood missed, But I remember holding hands in my living room as Steve Christie scored three points to cap a 35 point comeback victory with Frank Reich at the Helm.

That's possible but Mike Brown is playing a smaller role in the way the team deals with business these days...which bodes well for that franchise.
The other free agent target on the Chiefs wish list has always been cornerback Troy Vincent. Now that the Chiefs have $6 million in cap room, they moved quickly to increase their offer for Vincent, who is expected to decide shortly and could be signed, sealed and delivered to Kansas City within the next 24 hours. Part of the reason, Vincent, did not sign with the Chiefs on Thursday was because the Chiefs were frantically searching for a way to match the Tait deal.
Judging from that quote, I'd bet a bucket o' wings it's a done deal. To be honest though I'm not that disappointed. He will be 33 in June and I'd rather get a younger guy to play with Clements for years to come. TV has 1, maybe 2 years left in his tank at CB before he slides over to safety. I don't want to be looking yet again for another CB that soon.
