He's playing his cards perfectly, trying to get all 3 teams in a bidding war. You can just about guarantee that TD and the Bills won't comply.

That's possible but Mike Brown is playing a smaller role in the way the team deals with business these days...which bodes well for that franchise.

UPDATE.........

The other free agent target on the Chiefs wish list has always been cornerback Troy Vincent. Now that the Chiefs have $6 million in cap room, they moved quickly to increase their offer for Vincent, who is expected to decide shortly and could be signed, sealed and delivered to Kansas City within the next 24 hours. Part of the reason, Vincent, did not sign with the Chiefs on Thursday was because the Chiefs were frantically searching for a way to match the Tait deal.

Judging from that quote, I'd bet a bucket o' wings it's a done deal. To be honest though I'm not that disappointed. He will be 33 in June and I'd rather get a younger guy to play with Clements for years to come. TV has 1, maybe 2 years left in his tank at CB before he slides over to safety. I don't want to be looking yet again for another CB that soon.

i not so sure its a done deal TV is gonna see if BUF or CIN are gonna match the offer..... hopefully the decision is made soon

i hope TV doesnt think that KC is actually gonna win the SB..... theres a better chance that Drew will be the leauge MVP

KC did win 14 games last year and returns basically their entire team. If they improve on defense (and just switching coordinators from Greg Robinson to Gunther Cunningham will help), why wouldn't they be Super Bowl contenders?
