According to the Nashville Tennessean:

"Volek is apparently weighing a lucrative three-year offer from the Atlanta Falcons while continuing to have agent Ken Staninger keep the lines of communication open with the Titans."

Really! He'll start sooner if he just stays in Tennesee.

Griese is a former Pro Bowl quarterback, though his asking price might be out of Tennessee’s range, and it is not known if he would come into a situation strictly as a backup behind Steve McNair with no chance to start.

1. Who is going to give him big money
2. What did he do in Miami to prove he should start anywhere.

Only if Vick gets much smarter, much faster.

I've always said that Vick will spend most of his career hurt so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. And not having a good backup killed them last year.

Volek would only sign with Atlanta if

1. It's a really big contract

or

2. Atlanta has told him, and he believes that they have questions about Vick continuing as a starter (injury risk).

Atlanta has too much invested in Vick...I don't think it will happen.
