Billy Volek IN BUFFALO TODAY!
Jeff Morrison was on WNSA and he said that the Bills are getting a visit from QB Billy Volek today. He is in town and will be working out for Buffalo.

I like what I have seen from him so far. I would not mind getting the QB issue taken care of before the draft so we can concentrate on other positions!

That's why I would be VERY happy if they signed him today. Then we don't have to worry about the Big Ben or Rivers talk anymore and can draft a player who will help us immediately, in the first round.Originally posted by lordofgun

If the price is right, then the risks are considerably less than drafting a guy and expecting him to be an immediate, competent backup. If or when Volek would become the starter, the transition should definitely go a lot smoother than from Kelly to Collins.Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
