Someone on a Cinci message board says that Marvin Lewis on a local Cincinatti radio station said that Vincent chose to come here.

Again, this is just a rumor. Not fact, but it is atleast something to whet your appetite till later when the decision actually comes out.

I listened to the same interview. Later Marvin explained to Bob Trumpy that he doesn't want to make any decisions in free agency that would limit his ability to maneuver in 2-3 years, or to cause him to release players only because of contract sizes.

In other words, we wouldn't give a 33 year old CB the huge deal he wanted. As long as we get someone better than burris and Hawkins, I think we can live with this resolution.
