I wonder What Sam Wyche's thoughts are on Volek. I don't think Drew is all that but Drew, Volek and Rivers (for example). Not too shabby.

TD may still try to draft a qb if he is the best athlete available and not neccesarily for need.


It could be worse.... the fins have Fiedler battling for the no.1 spot with a 3rd string qb from another team and paid both millions.

I don't think anyone has enough information on Volek to feel comfortable to form a strong opinion. I am not for or against this potential signing. I still hope we draft a QB in rd 3 or later just in case...

this just seems to me like a backup plan to bledsoe just in case he chokes this season. so if volek is going to be our starter for the majority of the season and does a good job, hell be our starter but if not, well draft a qb next year

All I know is that he can't be worse than Drew and he will be alot cheaper. May as well sign him, cut Drew, draft a QB and look to '06.
