Volek to make decision by the end of the week...

    According to the Nashville Tennessean:

He apparently has visited Buffalo, Denver, Green Bay and Atlanta (twice). He has maintained contact with the Titans and would like to stay with them, but they may not have the cap room to keep him.

The article states the Atlanta offer includes a $3.5M signing bonus.

I'm kind of ambivalent on our signing Volek. He would be more ready to play than a rookie, but long term, we will probably be better off with Big Ben, Rivers or Losman.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

there's always the possibility that both can happen.

Not sure, given our other needs, that we would draft a high round QB if we were to sign Volek.

          Why not?

Volek on the bench- with a Loseman behind him. In 2005, if the Bills have 2 starting caliber QB's, trade one.

It all depends on the money. We won't go QB in the 1st that's for sure because of the highend money it will take to sign him. It would make no sense to put a lot of money into one position. Dozer it's Losman not Loseman!?
