At least it was a settlement. If the arbiter had sided with TO, I would have puked.

Wonderful. Act like a jackass, piss and moan, then get what you want. Is TO's wet nurse part of the deal, too?
Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
And someone else said "Never mind!"

Thats better than what I heard on ESPN last night. They were talking about the Ravens just getting a compensatory pick for thier troubles. That would not have been fair to the 29 other teams in the league not involved in this mess.

I'm happy for a couple of reasons.

            1) TO is out of the conference and will not impact the Bills and a run at the playoffs.

            2) San Fran will not get a "compensitory" pick if TO was declared a FA- or the Ravens for that matter- which was rumored to be a day 1 selection (as high as a #1 that some rumors had it as) so the Bills won't lose out on one less person to select from in the draft

            3) Philly gets someone to compliment Allan Iverson on the sports pages. Talk aout 2 big babies.

4)That the teams worked it out themselves- if an arbritrator or another outside source did this, it would have ramifications in future FA decisions- or imagine if a precident was set that a player could ***** and moan to set up his own trades nullifying the deal.

Thank God Though ... Keep Him in the NFC! ... He may be annoying and rediculouly cocky. But he's a good WR ... The Ravens don't need any more offense!

              - I remember watching objects fly in my house Jan. 27th 1991 (XXV) as Scott Norwood missed, But I remember holding hands in my living room as Steve Christie scored three points to cap a 35 point comeback victory with Frank Reich at the Helm.

I wonder who the player is...

94 N.D. Kalu? Or I was thinking... 98 Brandon Whiting, but he doesn't start now that Kearse is there. Hmmm....

After all that, if T.O. complains about the team he's on, they can say, "Look, you chose to come here. Heck, you fought to come here," then tell him the shut it.

Is it just me or is anyone else sick to their stomach from this? It basically means that the 49ers and the Ravens realized that the arbitrator was going to rule in favor of TO and make him a free agent, so they quickly got this new deal done to stop the arbitrator from giving his ruling today.
