I know but if drew bombs out the immediate future looks grim, unless you think zolman has what it takes. (HAHAHAHAHAHA)

I wouldn't be afraid to put Rivers or Losman (we will get one, Rivers in 1 or Losman in 2) in if Bledsoe faltures.

If we fail to get Volek- I wouldn't mind drafting 2 QBs- someone on day 1 and someone late

Rick Mirer is available. Bledsoe and Mirer on the same team. Wouldn't that be great?

I honestly think that we should really push for Big Ben. His style of play would suit this type of offense perfectly. He could easily slide in if Bledsoe goes down with an injury, or if Bledsoe ends up sucking the big one this year.

If the Chargers pass on Manning, it's almost a guarantee that Eli will go to Arizona. That would send Rothlisberger down a few slots. IMO, Pittsburgh would take Big Ben if he's available at the 11th overall selection. A trade up from the 13th slot to the 10th spot with Houston, securing Rothlisberger, wouldn't be the worst thing to ever happen. ...but it's also probably the most unlikely thing to happen.

If Volek isn't signed Buffalo will look to draft a QB on day one. Candidates are Rivers and Losman. The next group of guys are probably not worth a third round pick: Schaub, Harris, Smoker, Pickett, Navarre and others
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

But that still leavs an unproven rookie if bledsoe implodes

I like that idea. The two draft picks, Brown, and Zolman fight it out for the #2 and #3 slots. One of the 2 that don't make the cut gets relegated to the practice squad. Travis Brown is the only one not eligible for the practice squad.
