We won't draft a QB on day 1. At least for sure not in the 1st 2 rounds.

Volek is going to get good money for a backup and their is no way that TD would allow Volek to be a 3rd stringer with the amount of money he is looking for to get. On top of that the amount of money a QB will get in the 1st 2 rounds is also too much for a 3rd stringer.

Fact is that if anyone is hoping for Volek and Rivers/Roethlisburger/Losman or any other QB in the 1st 2 rounds, forget it.

why would volek or a rookie OB be a 3rd stringer next year? who would you place before them, we lost AVP.

Thats my point. Volek won't be a 3rd stringer. He would be signing for too much money to be #3 on the depth chart. Volek is not gonna come in to be a career back up.
