lol...who's your number 2?? Betting here is that it will be one of the three:

    Volek
    Stewart
    Griese

For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.

I'd take Brian Griese before Kordell. Heck, I'd take Bob Griese before Kordell.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

                "No to Kordell."
Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
And someone else said "Never mind!"

I wonder what Kordell's next move will be. If I didn't know better, I'd say his NFL career as a QB is over. However, there was a sucker last year in Chicago, so why not this year somewhere else.

Assuming that no one calls, I wonder if he would just up and retire or consider returning to the slash role that earned him more than a couple highlights early in his career. He's getting older, but I'd sure be interested in assessing his KR abilities at this stage.

Vet minimum to try him out as a return man / emergency WR?
Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

I actually would not mind Kordel in buffalo... but not as full time 2nd qb but like you suggested in his role as "slash"... in certain situations i would like to see him line up under center adding another element of surprise in the redzone or as an "one play in and out guy" or to contend for the KR and PR spots... if you could sign him for the vet minimum i think he would atleast be worth taking a look at
