i am going out of town this afternoon for a dental convention. i made arrrangements with my ex two months ago....he was to come down and get Jack and bring him to Savannah for the week (it's spring break next week).
The :angry:er calls last night to tell me he has no way to get down here....i guess he doesn't own a car  and his ride fell through. He may be able to get here on Friday, he'll let me know.:madcurse:
i called my brother and sister-in-law, who fortunately live in town, and they will take Jack tonight and possibly for the weekend if the :censored: can't get down here....but for chrissakes, talk about waiting til the last minute...
What really pisses me off is that my son has been very excited to see his dad, and he is going to be very angry, upset, and disappointed. And i will have to leave him with my 93 year old Nana this afternoon until my brother or sister-in-law get out of work. What a huge letdown for the little guy....it breaks my heart.
:(

i really shouldn't be surprised.:cynic:

That's too bad, shelby. :( I hope he can get a ride to get Jack so he won't be too disappointed.

That really sucks, Shelby. :( Sorry to hear that. I hope Jack is able to have a good weekend even if your ex can't make it.

Not to give advice- but if he's not responsible enough to come get him- why would you give him the opportunity to watch him for even a few hours??

Court orders.
And my six year old loves his dad. i don't think it's right to deny him the right to see his dad.
Update...now he can't come tomorrow either....he says he's working on getting down here Saturday or Sunday. Why :angry:ing bother...i'll be home Sunday afternoon.
My poor brother and sister-in-law....i feel awful for burdening them at the last minute like this.
:madcurse:
At least i know Jack will be safe and in good hands.

Actually, the only bad thing about Church is that he hasn't moved to Tampa. Other than that, he's :10:
