The Sabres did get some bad news after the game, learning that left wing Taylor Pyatt separated his collarbone and is expected to be out three weeks, coach Lindy Ruff said.
Not a huge loss, but injuries never help.
Buffalo's Daniel Briere was knocked out of the game when Sutton delivered an elbow to the head in the third period.
Briere might have a concussion, which would be a much greater loss than Pyatt. Hopefully it's nothing.
