Finsfans are bragging what Boston did prior to his becoming a fin? Haha!. I heard Seau was also a probowler before he joined the fins but I'm sure finfans will want to take credit for when he was a charger .
Yo finfans, how many catches has Boston made as a fin? ....... Thought so!!!!!

That's funny. Before he was a dolphin he was a "cancer" and "injury-prone" and a "freak" according to Dolphin fans. Now he's an all-star because Miami picked him up?!

Did you see the link on the thread about feely too? Some finfans hated the thought of Feely and now think he will be your no. 1 qb. :laughter:

You ignorant no nothing waste of space, Vincent has been to the last 5 pro-bowls he wasnt in his prime in miami.
Our CB has just reached his prime, your roided out injury riddled reciever with nipple rings reached his prime his second season.

You do realize in that video that it was just dumb luck that was a reception instead of a INTERCEPTION....
Vincent mistimed his jump....thats all....
Now of course....both of these players went on with their careers after that video....
- One continued on with the same team.....making many pro bowls.....and contributed to what was a always top ranked Eagles defense....
- The other got busted for roid use.....has been a alwasy hurt cancer to his team....that went on to the Chargers who promptly traded him away for a case of beer......
I think I like Vincent in this matchup......

Pure brilliance. I'm sure you'd rather not have had your team in the conference championship the last few years. Really, it's better this way. C'mon, seriously. I'd think that any of us would've liked for our teams to be where Philly's been lately. It's a hell of a lot better than where we were come playoff time.

LOL well to be realistic i dont think u can compare either of these players till they actually play for their respected teams and line up in their new systems. Vincent is a great signing for u guys no doubt, at the very least(saying hes healthy) he'll be a solid corner, that u guys wont have to worry about off the field. Boston while very talented (saying hes healthy) has off field troubles at the least to worry about as well. Stats wise Vincent probably benefited greatly by playing in a blitz orientated defense. And likewise stats wise Boston greatly benefitted by being the only player to throw the ball to in arizona and sandiego. Should be an interesting matchup saying that both are healthy and on the field.
Devin

hes reaching thats all.
He knows as well as we that our defence is gonna make Feely and Co. our bitches this year. Especially with that wall of a line they have over there.

Well put. Boston will be a decent #2 guy. All dependent on your line and QB.

great points. There's worry on both sides. Vincent-age and Boston-mind. I'm pretty happy that we signed Vincent but there's a part of me that's nervous because maybe he loses a step this year. Same thing if I were a Phins fan, I'd be a little excited about the potential playmaker but the history of antics would have me nervous. In either case, for the price it was worth a shot.

If Vincent plays that far off of Boston against Miami in 2004, it will be dink and dunk all day. I love Miami's matchups now.
Boston is not the only threat in the passing game in Miami like he was in Arizona and San Diego.

Boston is already more than a decent #2 guy for Miami. With his presence, defenses have to respect the starting WR duo of Miami.
Hell, Miami was very limited in their receiving talent last year and Chambers had 2 TD's in 2 games and had very good moments to rack up yardage if Fiedler hadn't overthrown Chambers everytime he had his defender beat deep.
Not to mention that Ricky is the first guy on Takeos mind when he here's the word "Miami".
I do agree about the o-line and QB situation. Feeley is an unknown so you can't brag about him nor bash him. The o-line is still being looked to be improved.

You're WR's will definitely make plays, they're too talented not to. I believe the same is true with our corners. What really scares me is McMichael. I think he'll do more overall damage than the WR's in more than one game this year.

Like last year when Lawyer (I did nothing) Malloy, and Takeo ( I made the Pro Bowl out of Pitty) Spikes were going to shut us down, and that was with Jay...Please last year your "D" was going to be great. They folded like a cheap suit. I should know, I had them for my fantasy league, was doing well the first two weeks, then down the Toilet.
Devin, you are a typical Buffalo punk peg boy who can't handle being the fan of a team that is always losing. It's like me going onto the Patriots site and trash talking them. The Buffablow bills will always be the Bitches of the East. Talk to me when your club gets OVER .500. Until then shut your pie hole and take your loser medicine. Game Set Match...funny tennis ref, should be more like badmitten for buffablow....PUNK!!!!

one it doesnt matter that the eagles didnt do good. that wasnt vincents fault....vincent has proven that he is a great player (5 time pro-bowler) and he will be a great addition to an already great buffalo defense. as for boston, he is just another miami reciever that has never reall been great. he wont make a difference. expecially with AJ or Fiedler behind center. dont talk ***** until the seasons starts. we will see who flies and who dies. :gobills:

this draft is strong enough to address both of those problems though.adding boston makes d.thompson and t.wilkens respectable 3rd and 4th receivers too.

David Boston receiving respect when he goes on the field is a fact. If you are doubting that, then there's not much to talk about.

The Patriots won 2 superbowls, took them a long time but it happened.
The Jets have not won or been to a Superbowl since the name "Superbowl" was invented but they did win an NFL/AFL Championship game.
Miami won 2 Superbowls and had an undefeated season in one of the Superbowl seasons.
After 38 years, Bills still looking for a Superbowl win.
Bills are the cellar dwellers of the AFC East. Period.

Based on measurables, Boston ought to be the greatest receiver who ever played the game. When he's on the field he underachieves. With A. J. Feeley to deliver him the ball what is going to change? We've been hearing for the last two years how Chris Chambers was going to eat the Bills alive. He's won a few battles. The Bills have won some battles. I don't think it's going to be any different with Boston, except that Boston has a load of baggage.
The fact that Miami got him for what, a sixth round pick shows what San Diego though of him. There has to be a reason for that. I think Miami will find that reason next season.
RUDEbyallMEANS

David Boston did not like it in San Diego.
The Chargers were going to cut David Boston anyway. Many teams were interested in Boston and Miami did not want to lose out on him so they went for a trade.
San Diego wanted a 3rd rounder for him, but they were in no position to negotiate. San Diego then got a 6th and Jamar Fletcher for him. Good for San Diego.
Excellent for Miami.
Ricky Williams trade to Miami was very similar circumstance. Miami got a steal.
