Before you comment keep in mind this is pending results/performance of mentioned players.

So ummm assuming we are roughly 10 mil under the cap (clump feel free to correct/revise my figures) and we release Drew (pending results this season of course) and perhaps ask Moulds to restructure (8 mil cap hit i think) we should have between 15-20 mil?

If we drafted Rivers/Ben and a WR 2nd (we now have a solid recieving corps and our future QB)

Maybe think about doing the following:

- Resign Schobel
- Extend Clements
- Trade Either Magahee or Henry for a 2nd but escalated to a first pending performance (naturally if we could get a straight up 1st thats ok to)
- If Henry is not traded Extend his Contract
- 1st Pick on Future DE
- Pending 1st rounder for RB: CB (replace Vincent after the following season)
- FA Sign OL/TE potentially a WR depending obviously on this year and this draft

Extending Clements and Henry also means the following year we have our two biggest FA signed and can concentrate on other areas.

Now unless im mistaken this would sure up key free agents, plug holes, and generally keep us competitive and young.

so we theorehtically with drew cut and restructuring could have quite the chunk of change.

EB told me about 25 mill under at the moment.. but that doesnt include the cap going up another 5 mill or so.. and it doesnt inlcude any bonuses that anyone may hit.. some guys go up a good deal, like sam adams i believe.

well say in theory we have that much now, and after cuts, restructuring and the cap moving up we have a solid amount to play with.

this would also sort Henry and Clements for the following year and give us much more breath room personel wise.

clements is not a free agent next year.. but i do think we should extend his deal soon.

well i just meant extend it so the following year (2006) he wasnt an issue. Then we can worry about Future WR to replace Moulds.
