Guard Bobbie Williams to visit Bills on Wednesday!

FREE-AGENT CHASE: The Bengals figure to be active for a right guard as well as a free safety in free agency now with no impact cornerbacks left. One of the agents for Eagles guard Bobbie Williams said his client is ready to sign, but is waiting to hear back from the club. Meanwhile, he is to visit Buffalo Wednesday, where he is expected to get an offer.

It doesn't tell me anything but it would be a good signing he's only 27. I'm all for it.

If he were to sign, I imagine Buffalo will be pretty well set on the O-line and will be drafting other positions. I'd still like to get Bannister.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Williams was a backup with Philly, getting his first extended starting action last year due to injuries. He backed up at both OG and OT for the Eagles, so his versatility is a plus.

Good for depth, but probably not being looked at to start.

EXactly I think our depth at o-line woudl be set with the exception of Center. If we were to sign Bobbie Williams we would probably focus more on skills. On second thought I have no clue on what we would draft if we signed Williams with TD running the show.

He sure would push Sullivan and Tucker that's for sure.

I'd like to see him in the mix for a starting O line position. He was a 2nd round pick of the Eagles and is still relatively young. There's no telling what McNally can do with him, and since he has also played tackle, he might allow us to shift Jennings or Big Mike inside.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
