i guess it really goes to show that it doesnt mean too much.. because, while the miami players score so low.. their are loads of them that make an impact in the draft every year.

Looking at the scores...I'd take Rivers. Question for the draft gurus: Will Ben Watson last until the 2nd round (or later).

Well the way he's tearing it up at combines and pro days there's even a slight possibility he goes late 1st round and at the very latest early 2nd. If he were to fall to us depending on who else is available we better strongly concider him. Ben Watson ran a 4.49 40 yard dash did 34 reps of 225 Lbs. and just scored a 41 on the wonderlic. I would puke if we passed this guy up.

i would initially agree, but i cant really imagine two tight ends between picks. but i guess in todays game with players like heap and shockey, good tight ends are the new trend

i think there is a very good possibility he will be there in the second.. because troupe and winslow have not hurt themselves at all.. so i wouldnt say that watson has "passed over" them.. some teams may have originally had watson higher than troupe, but not likely..

anyways.. jason whitten was supposed to go to us in the first round last year, per some mock drafts.. he went to dallas in the middle of the 3rd.. te's can fall for sure.

There is also a pretty good article about the wonderlic here
http://espn.go.com/page2/s/closer/020228.html

It says that a score of 20 is eqal to an IQ score of 100 which is average.

He was doing all right, but he ran out of time so he had to leave a bunch of questions blank...

They said if only he hadn't taken so long to answer each question, he could have gotten one of the higherst scores ever...

Losman's score is a relief. I remember a few people citing they didn't want him because he is dumb and reminds them of RJ. Of course, they had no evidence to support that claim.

Bledsoe did very well, check out Marino's......LOL

Teams aren't supposed to release the scores, but they're usually leaked anyway. Among quarterbacks Brian Griese is said to have scored a 39, Drew Bledsoe 37, Steve Young 33, John Elway 30, Troy Aikman 29, Cade McNown 28, Mark Brunell 22, Tim Couch 22, Trent Dilfer 22, Brett Favre 22, Daunte Culpepper 21, Vinny Testaverde 18, DAN MARINO 16, Randall Cunningham 15 and Jeff George 10. Kicker Sebastian Janikowski reportedly got a 9, though he offered $500 to the test proctor to give him a 10. (Kidding.) This year Florida quarterback Jesse Palmer is said to have scored a 32, and TCU star running back LaDainian Tomlinson only had a 13. Anytime your Wonderlic approaches your cleat size, it's not good.

I never heard that Losman was supposed to be dumb. I have heard he can be arrogant, is not an especially good locker room guy, and tends to hold on to the ball too long trying to make a play. Where have we heard that last criticism before?

A high Wonderlic score is not a guarantee that a QB will do well in the NFL, but a low one is a red flag. A low score for a DT isn't much of a problem. He just needs a guy next to him to point at the QB and say, "Go get him when he has the ball."

For some reason, a lot of WRs don't have great Wonderlic scores. Charles Rogers was very low last year. On the other hand Kevin Curtis, drafted by the Rams had a very high Wonderlic.
