What is the best way to download music

how do you steal your music?

i have always used Limewire... but it doesnt really compair to napster from a few years back.. alot less selection.

just wondering if there was a better way..

i was asking because i was trying to download Big Head Todd and the Monsters new cd tonight.. "Crimes of Passion".. and i couldnt find a single song from the cd.. pisses me off.

you gotta use mirc.com. its internet chat relay. it's a lil more complicated but once you get it, your good. you can dl entire albums and crap. i like it better then kazaa cause u get none of those fake songs or looping ones. good luck

WinMX is a file sharing program.

You can download it at WinMX.com (www.winmx.com)

It's just another one such as Kazaa and Napster, except it doesn't use all that spyware bull****. Very simple to use too.

I don't use it all that much, maybe a few songs here and there. I like to download songs to check out an artist and then go buy their CD if I like :up:

depends on what you listen to...

The original Napster was the best especially if you listen to stuff that nobody else does (like me). However, if the artist is big enough most services are ok. Winmx works very well.

If I were to download music, I would do it via the newsgroups alt.binaries.mp3, or kazaalite.

If I were to download copyrighted material, which I don't, I would have been using LimeWire Paid version without spyware for the last 5 years. :up: I would've been very satisfied with the selections too.

thats what i have.. but there are always alot of songs that are not available.

kazaa lite is kazaa with out the spyware, and you are automatically ranked as a guru, even if you dont share :D

if your isp has a news server, you can download songs, movies, games, appz from there, if you are so inclined. Not that I would ever do it. Grabit from shemes.com is an excellent way to download them, or so I am told.
