Drew Bledsoe has taken some criticism after posting sub-par numbers during the 2003 season, but that hasn't stopped new coach Mike Mularkey from backing Bledsoe.
During the past few weeks the team has hosted three veteran free agent quarterbacks and Mularkey has told each of them that Bledsoe is the team's starting quarterback and that the Bills are seeking a veteran to fill the backup role.
"I think Mike (Mularkey) has made it clear that Drew is our starter and that we are committed to Drew," President and General Manager Tom Donahoe said. "Right now we are looking for a solid number two guy with a few years of experience."
