Another loss for the isles. Too bad we didn't get that win the other night.

The isles can only win one more game this year if we win our final four.

Esche may not play, hopefully Burke will get the start that night, unless he is resting for the playoffs...

It's pretty much always a toss-up between Eshe and Burke now in philly, which is going to kill them in the playoffs.

Esche is the official #1 in Philly, Burke is the #2. Clarke had stated sometime after the Burke acquisition that Esche would be their guy in the playoffs.

I was watching the ABC telecast of the flyers game this weekend, and Darren Pang said that Ken Hitchcock told Burke to prepare like a #1 goalie because he's got a chance to play every night.

Must be because Esche has slipped lately....or "slipped". It's amazing how the goalie gets all of the blame at times, when the defense itself is sucking (Sounds like Buffalo, eh?).

And since when did ESPN/ABC become hockey-knowledgeable??

Very true, but I've always trusted Panger. He knows his stuff.
