Buffalo Bills head coach Mike Mularkey had a few tense moments yesterday at the NFL Owners meetings at the Breakers Hotel in West Palm Beach. When what on-lookers described as a visually shaken psychotic fan approached the new head man for the Bills, Mularkey didn’t know what to expect. “Well, you have to be careful nowadays, you just don’t know what these people are going to do.” Apparently, coach Mularkey had just finished his lunch and upon leaving the hotel restaurant was cornered by the disturbed fan! According to Mularkey, the fan rambled on about Jim Kelly, Drew Bledsoe and how a guy from Florida became a Bills fan. Mularkey finally escaped by using a lame excuse about going golfing. It looks like charges will not be pressed.

Yeah I would run from a PATS fan too. Boston only needs three sports and they start with the name Boston not New England.

He called me later that evening and told me the story while we went over some other business. I recommended to him that he carry a Glock 20 from now on, as this fan is obviously very disturbed and potentially dangerous.

In fact, next week I will bring it up with Paul as well in the hope that all NFL coaches are packing heat next year, with the exception of Gregg Williams. No need to arm a man I just fired.
