Total Access is a pretty good show. I'm starting to get hooked on it. They showed the meeting where replay was discussed, with comments from the likes of Belichek, Mike Brown, and Jeff Fisher. It was pretty interesting.

Belichek made a good point about way the new 3rd challenge rule works. You only get a third one when you are right on your first two. Say you won the first one early in the half. Midway through the 2nd (or 4th) quarter there is a key turnover that is a borderline call. If you challenge and lose, you in effect lose two challenges at once.

The 3rd challenge may effect the way coaches use the first two. It should help eliminate frivolous Mike Martz type challenges, but it really puts the coaches shorts in a bunch in a situation like Belichek describes.
