    Round 4 and 5

My plan would to be draft TE Jason Peers in the 4th and FB Mike Karney in the 5th or maybe even flip flop the 2. What do you say to this idea? I like it because it gives us 2 smash mouth type of players and that is essential to our offense.

    Mike Karney

that would be ok by me. I liked both of them in college. Plus Peters just looks like a monster.

      i would like that alot.

my dream draft at this point would be some combination of the following...

      1st - Harris, Wilfork, Rivers
      2nd - Losman, Carey, Grove
      3rd - Lavalias, Snell, Smoker
4th - Peters, Karney, Tim Anderson
5th - Peters, Karney, PK Sam
      6th - PK Sam
      7th - Nate Kaeding

I like them both, although in the case of Peters, why not take a true Tackle instead of a TE masquerading as one, and/or a TE that can catch the ball? Kearney may be more of a 6th or 7th rounder, as he seems to have fallen in some rankings.

But I really wouldn't mind having them both in our new pound- the-ball offense.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

          7th - best available kicker
          I could deal with that!

jason peters can catch just fine.. he has soft hands.. surprisingly for a big man. he just isnt gonna outrun anyone.. but he sure as hell will steamroll a DB.. that would be fun to watch, no?

Exactly also imagine it's 3rd-1 or 3rd and inches and have Peters lined up along side of Mike Williams and Karney leading the way.
