NFL Europe Provides Opportunity For Zolman

    By Bill Hudock, buffalobills.com
For Greg Zolman, the road to Buffalo travels through Germany. The second-year quarterback from Vanderbilt University signed with the Bills in late January and was allocated to the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe, where he is currently preparing for the season opener against the Cologne Centurions this Sunday. After stints with four NFL teams in the last two seasons, Zolman says NFL Europe may be his best opportunity to show people what he can do.

"The important thing for me is that I get some game experience and the Bills see what I can do in game-type situations. Other than a few snaps in preseason, I really don't have a lot of game film except for college stuff. I think it will be beneficial to get out there, get on film, and do well. I am going to do the best I can with this opportunity."

Zolman had a hell of a game yesterday by even out playing starter Chad Hutchinson. Zolman went 7-9 for 122 yards and a TD with a 116 QB rating.

Yeah, I saw that! Let's hope he can keep it up! Maybe we have our QB of the future in Europe right now....
