Anybody out there get Satellite Direct or otherwise know if any of the preseason games will be on Directv?

And please don't tell me that preseason games don't come with Sunday Ticket... I realize that :D

Usually one or two of them wind up on one of the regional Fox Sports channels, maybe a day or two after the game - those are what I'm interested in.

Thanks!!!

JJ

Some of the local sports nets may carry preseason games. If a local TV station is airing the games (like in Buffalo) then you may be SOL.

I have seen west coast preseason on the dish last year (raiders) and some will rebroadcast them on tape delay. Just keep the eyes peeled.

Yeah, usually the odds are better for the 2 away games - I don't know that I've seen a home ps game end up on Fox Sports.

If I know I can catch at least one of them, I'll buy the DTV Regional Sports pack and just keep it through August like I did last year...

BTW, I don't think I've ever seen such a hilarious yet disturbing avatar... LOL. Always loved that pic...

Fox sports always shows pre-season games If you dont have satelite than you will recieve hometown team preseason games on Fox Sports. ESPN will show a cuople of them like on Monday night I think.

This was asked in the shoutbox yet unanswered, so I thought that I would ask it here:

Will the scrimmage against Cleveland be televised? If so what channel?

No television for the scrimmage

I do believe that they are trying to torture us.

I don't know man, TVGuide.com says the scrimmage will be on Empire (DTV 626) Sat. Aug 3 at 10AM and again at 8PM.

The Browns scrimmage was televised last year too. That said, if you haven't watched a scrimmage before, well, lets just say ya ain't missing much if you don't get to see it...

I'm gonna see if I can get a copy of Sat. Direct for August and I'll post whatever games will be on DTV.

The only preseason game listid in my Direct TV Guide are 2 tape delays of the Lions game.

Aug 29 3:00 AM Bills @ Lions FOXD 636
Aug 30 12:00pm Bills @ Lions FOXD 636

I hope that others pop up. I remember that a couple years ago there was at least one game theat was tape delayed, and wasn't on the schedule.

Empire is on ch 626.

Unless you live in upstate NY, you need to pay extra for the regional sports package.

These sports channels will not show you any Bills regular season games

636 is Fox Sports Detroit.

I didn't see the Browns Scrimage listed anywhere. Will Empire air it???

Aero II-

Ok, thanks man. At least I know I can get one of the games.

I don't remember the Browns scrimmage last year being listed in the Sat. Direct guide either, but yes, Empire will definitely air it.

One other thing just to clarify for people who may not know... You CAN carry NFL Sunday Ticket by itself without any other subscription package - this should apply to any of their other packages as well. Obviously DTV doesn't go out of their way to publicize this, but just call them up and they'll do it.

Also, say you order the Sports Net pack for just August or whatever, DTV will tell you there is a cancellation fee, which I think is $5 or $10... When you go to cancel, tell them you'd like the fee waived and they will do it - at least they have with me the last 2 years.

Yes you can get Empire on DirecTV, just order the sports pack. Also for DirecTV schedules, use their website. Another tip is to set up some scouts for words like 'NFL', 'Buffalo Bills', 'Football' and then remember to shut your box off so they will run.
