Peace Bridge Troubles?

I just had a thought. I wonder if the labour diffculties with the Canadian Border Guards & the lineups that people are seeing on the Peace Bridge have anything to do with the attendance dropping at Sabres games.

I can speak for myself that when I lived in London and Toronto, we used to do some spur-of-the-moment day trips down there (because the Leafs were always sold out) to get our hockey fix.
I would probably have second thoughts about going if I thought a delay was going to add time to my trip.

Toronto = 2 hr drive, assuming little delay
London = 3 hr drive, " " "
(Not to mention your fans from Hamilton & The Niagara Penninsula.)

You may be seeing Canadian "day-trippers" staying away?!?!?
