Is Jonas a free agent next year. I have heard some talk that when he is we might have a hard time signing him. Any info on this. I like the guy, I think he could be very good.

I'm thinking that the Front Office will begin addressing possible extensions and such after June 1st. By that time, they'll have had a better look at all the draftees (if they sign early) and will get a chance to look at possible salcap casualties.Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!

Personally, I'd like to see him stick around...continuity on the O-line is usually a pretty good thing. But I see people happy that Ruben is gone because of the penalties. Jennings had more than Ruben, though.Originally posted by nolimit

Not signing Winfield to a big contract should help us with our FA's next year.
IMO, we'll sign him to a longterm deal whether its gonna be during the regular season or in the offseason.Comment
