Oh yea, the ESR showed a peice about it last night, I hope they do well and the Amerks can go far in the playoffs...

about 40 people on Sabres.com's Message boards Said it Wont Happen...

the 2 main reasons they all posted is

1. Roster Submissions... lmao... Ruff Sent Roy Bartovic and taylor Down for the AHL Roster Play Off Submission, and then brought them back Up.

2. Sabres Wont part with ROY now that he's Up Here..
Well Ruff himself said on Empire He's Disappointed in ROY-BARTOVIC-AFINIGENOV Line so Why Would he Keep Them?

Anyway..

the fact is he said back in early March they would go down if the Sabres were eliminated..

lindy ruff should meet the pink slip.....roy played well i thought.... hes a young player but he has the potential of being a good nhl player

Why would anyone be against this?

1- The players get valuable experience under playoff pressure

2- The better players the Amerks get, the deeper in the playoffs they go

3- The deeper they go, the more $$ they make, lessening the burden on the Sabres if Rochester loses money

4- It's not like these guys were going to play for their counry's teams in the World Championships

The WC's are in Prague from April 24 - May 9

It's a given that players are released to go to their national teams if called up.
