first just let me say i am not taking sides on this issue, but honestly, how many other QB's in the league would you rather have than bledsoe? (i am just trying to get everyone's opinions) sure, he is not the greatest QB ever and i know many of you dislike him as our QB, but i think he is alot more compitent than many other guys in the league, or at least still has the potential to be a good QB capable of winning us something if the coaching staff uses him right. look at the other teams around the league and tell me who you'd take over him. here's a few just off the top of my head that i would say... farve, mcnabb, manning, mcnair.

Maybe you should qualify your question a little more, like: Available? At what price (Salary/Trade Value/Draft Pick compensation)? Temporay (one year) or Permanent replacement (2+years)?
Remember, also, that whomever is the answer to the question, conditions have significantly changed.Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
And someone else said "Never mind!"

any qb, doesnt matter about price/available/time spent here. it can be any qb(s) in the entire league. who would you rather have than him... i chose those four based on them workin within the system buffalo plays. i am just asking because it seems like alot of people on this forum really lash into him but never stop to think that a good majority of teams in this league have a qb who is much ****tier than him.

I understand what you're saying. There are quite a few QBs better than Bledsoe, no doubt about it. I guess what I was trying to get across was that you'll get plenty of "just about anybody else" responses; in other words, practical alternatives And not another litany of the same old bare numbers).Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
And someone else said "Never mind!"

I can't make myself say Brady, but I guess he would be one. Then you have Manning, McNair, Leftwich, Carr, Vick, Culpepper, Favre, McNabb.
Some because they are young, some because they are better and some just because.
The ones for me that the jury is out on are:
Pennington, Hasselbeck, Warner, Bulger, Brooks, Harrington, Grossman, and Ramsey.
The thing about these lists and maybe why this was brought up in the first place is because these are players we will probably never have. They are either too good and their teams would never part with them, or they will retire before leaving their team. The problem is, the list isn't really that long. Even if you really hate Bledsoe, I don't think you could say the list is 32 players long and if you do, then your hatred has blinded you.
I hope for everyone's sake that this year's Bills team does so well that we can put the Bledsoe differences aside. That the offense clicks and that everything is not put on one man's shoulders. Even if the offense isn't great, if it can limit the amount of mistakes it has made lately, that would be a step in the right direction.

Pick any one listed below.

Boller, Kyle QB, Baltimore Ravens
Brady, Tom QB, New England Patriots
Brooks, Aaron QB, New Orleans Saints
Brunell, Mark QB, Washington Redskins
Bulger, Marc QB, St. Louis Rams
Carr, David QB, Houston Texans
Carter, Quincy QB, Dallas Cowboys
Culpepper, Daunte QB, Minnesota Vikings
Delhomme, Jake QB, Carolina Panthers
Dilfer, Trent QB, Seattle Seahawks
Favre, Brett QB, Green Bay Packers
Feeley, A.J. QB, Miami Dolphins
Gannon, Rich QB, Oakland Raiders
Garcia, Jeff QB, Cleveland Browns
Green, Trent QB, Kansas City Chiefs
Griese, Brian QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Harrington, Joey QB, Detroit Lions
Hasselbeck, Matt QB, Seattle Seahawks
Henson, Drew QB, Dallas Cowboys
Johnson, Brad QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Kitna, Jon QB, Cincinnati Bengals
Leftwich, Byron QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Maddox, Tommy QB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Manning, Peyton QB, Indianapolis Colts
McNabb, Donovan QB, Philadelphia Eagles
McNair, Steve QB, Tennessee Titans
Pennington, Chad QB, New York Jets
Plummer, Jake QB, Denver Broncos
Ramsey, Patrick QB, Washington Redskins
Rattay, Tim QB, San Francisco 49ers
Stewart, Kordell QB, Chicago Bears
Vick, Michael QB, Atlanta Falcons
Volek, Billy QB, Tennessee Titans
Warner, Kurt QB, St. Louis Rams
Some would be for money savings (i.e., we would get the same performance as Drew for half the cash) and others would be for talent upgrade. And unless it was the latter, I'd still want us to draft for the future.

Is Blake still on the Cards roster? Maybe the recievers coach from AZ can talk JB into backing up Bledsoe.

We are supposed to be a run first offense, so why pay an average QB like Drew $8M (if they don't excercise the option) when you can get a Rattay for half that.
And Rattay is no scrub either and is young (5 years in the league):

I've backed up every single thing I've ever said about my position on Drew. I like him as a person, but as a QB we need to move on if we are to get any better.
If I just had "blind hatred" for him, I would just post stuff like....
Drew
.....and be done with it.
