I'd go with Rivers- There are tons of WRs in the draft almost equall in ability to Reggie Williams

And theWR's go 10-15 deep for guys who should emerge as a quality starting WR

I know this is a hypothetical, but let's hope it doesn't come down to that.

JUST those 2? No option of trading down? then Rivers.

Reggie Williams. I really don't see how everyone thinks that there are that many WRs equal to Williams. To me there is a huge dropoff after Woods and Evans. You have Fitz, M.Williams, Roy Williams, Reggie, Woods, and Evans, and then a major dropoff. When you get to guys like Devery Henderson and such, you are talking Josh Reed type players. We need to do better than that. Reggie has Randy Moss type skills, and great size. QB can wait till the 2nd Round.

this is not even an option.. you take rivers and never think about it again.

Rivers. There will be better receivers for our needs than Reggie, i.e., speed guys, available in the 2nd or 3rd round.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Trade down. Chances are later in the first there will still be a good WR like Evans or Woods to grab and it is also quite possible that Rivers would still be there because after our pick at 13 not many other teams need a QB.

If they take Reggie freakin Williams when Rivers is still on the board, I'm going to need a new TV.
