All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

ill be pissed if we get losman with our second round pick. i think if we will settle for him we might as well settle for any of the other project qb's like josh harris or casey clausen

I think Losman is a lot better than Harris or Clausen.

It all depends who is on the board at 43, and who we take at 13.

Harris and Clausen are 6th- 7th round QB selections. There is a huge drop off in talent from Losman to the next QB.
1st round- the Big 3, 1st to 2nd- Loseman, Then there is a big drop to the 3rd or later for Schaub, Pickett, Smoker, ect...ect....

What's the big knock on Smoker? I think he's way underrated and might be as good as the Big 3 someday. Might. We could get him in the 4th and he could learn under DB for a year or two.

Why is that? He is ranked 10-15 on most WR rank boards.

I think Darling is not ready for the NFL. I was just p-ing on him with my 7th round, but I don't think he will go earlier than late 3rd, possibly the 4th. I don't like the kid. I have seen rankings that put him like 15-20 and not in the top 100 players in the draft.
I would much rather look for a receiver in the 3rd like Derrick Hamilton, at least he will be a viable return guy.
