Three years of warming the bench as a backup OL /WLB at Edinboro (d2 school in nw p.a.). I actually played in 4 games....
now that's big time, brutha!.
I actually ran the fumble rooskie once from the RG slot....I gained about 6 yards on a 3 and 20, and that was my most glorious moment.
Ah, the memories.......

When did you play for the Scots? I grew up in Erie, not far from Edinboro. I also played OLB for Shippensburg University in '87.

95-97, Shippensburg always brought smash mouth ball to the table....I think they were in a down cycle during my time though...

4 games! Extra DB mostly on 2nd and 3rd down. Had a pretty nasty tear in my back and it still hurts. I figured I'm not going to the NFL so I didn't really go nuts in rehab. I moved out of Western NY at the end of the year and eventually finished school in Maryland.

I pretty much warmed the bench too. Played special teams though. Punt return and kickoff coverage. I was the gunner on punt return. Almost had one block! Almost :( .

Hey, I didn't even play high school ball. In high school I had what my Dr. described as a moderately severe case of Osgood Schlatter disease in both knees. They wouldn't let me near organized sports. My college alma mater never even heard of football.
