The Buffalo Bills met the media Monday to talk about the upcoming NFL draft. What they didn't talk about was who they are interested in drafting.
So let the speculation begin until the Bills make their decision 12 days from now.

"In my history with Tom (Modrak, assistant general manager)," said Bills President and GM Tom Donahoe, "we've proven that we don't have any reservations about doing anything."

In other words, the Bills are not a lock to hold on to the 13th overall selection.

They traded down from No. 14 to No. 21 to take cornerback Nate Clements in 2001 and dealt the 14th pick to New England in 2002 for quarterback Drew Bledsoe. The Bills regained a first-round pick last year in the Peerless Price trade with Atlanta and surprisingly took running back Willis McGahee with the 23rd pick.

We may not have a handle on what the Bills will do this time, but it doesn't take a mind reader to know they will get a very good player if they stay at No. 13.

"You hope that every pick that you take is foolproof," Donahoe said. "But there is some truth to the fact that the earlier you pick it should cut down your percentages of not getting a good player."

Does this mean they are looking to trade up? Personally I would hope not, but you never can tell what TD will do. I would like to move down and get more picks if the players that I hope will be there aren't.
