Staios, Dumont named to Team Canada

CALGARY, AB Team Canada General Manager, Jim Nill, along with Team Canada Assistant GM Don Maloney and Director, Player Personnel Lanny McDonald named Edmonton Oilers' Steve Staios and Buffalo Sabres' Jean-Pierre Dumont to represent Canada at the 2004 IIHF Mens World Hockey Championship, taking place in Prague, Czech Republic, April 24-May 9, 2004. Nill also announced that Atlanta Thrashers defenceman Andy Sutton, who was previously named to Team Canada on April 6th, has decided to not participate at the 2004 World Championship due to a nagging injury
