Is Hines Ward a good #1 receiver?

just wondering what you guys think. is he a dominant receiver.

    2001 - 94 for 1003 10.7 average 4 tds 34 yards (longest TD)
    2002 - 112 for 1329 11.9 average 12 tds 72 yards (longest TD)
    2003 - 95 for 1163 12.2 average 10 tds 50 yards (longest TD)

    67 catches of 20+ yards
    8 catches of 40+ yards

i simply want your opinion on him.

What the hell type of questions is that?
He is definately a #1 WR. He is a dominant WR.
He is one of the top 10 WRs in the league

      He's OK-

He is a good , if not one of the best, blocking WR's- but I don't think he's an elite WR like Harrison, or even moulds

Ward is a damn hard worker, a good blocker and is a big time possession guy. I think he is a good starting number 1 wide receiver. I think this is the guy I like to compair Josh Reed to. At least that is my hope.

I would rank him about 14. So a slightly above average #1 receiver I guess. Let me guess - Does this have something to do with Josh Reed?

He's like Peerless Price in that he has to have another very good WR opposite of him to be effective.

could you tell me what 13 you would put in front of him, if you have time?

so your saying he isnt a number 1, like peerless is not a number 1?

Peerless and Ward are both number ones. The definition of a number one WR is a WR who is at least the 32nd best WR in the league.

If you use that theory then yes but can they get there numbers with whoever is starting next to them?

i disagree.. for me to consider you a number one.. you have to be the best receiver on your team, and produce.

hines ward is definately a number one. no question about it.

peerless is not a number one.. not yet at least.

Hines Ward is one of the top WR in the league. e is only 6' tall, yet still makes TD catches in the endzone. He gets the yards, catches, and YAC. There is no way there are 13 WR better than him. I would say the only ones I would put above him now are Harrison, TO, Moss, and a healthy Moulds. Holt is close behind Ward, IMO.
