    Keary Colbert

Keary Colbert is just one of the many No. 2 college wideouts projected to have an impact in the NFL.

"You know, I never thought of myself as being second best at anything, but I was always willing to do whatever they needed me to do," said Colbert earlier this week. "To me, I was the starting 'Z' receiver. Mike was the starter at the 'X' spot. And before him, the 'X' guy was Kareem. The way I saw it was, they did their job, and I did mine. And if we all played well, heck, we'd succeed as a team. All I wanted to do was fit in somewhere and contribute to the program."

I like his attitude, and his results. Good second round pick.

I like him although I think he's more of a 3rd round pick.

He's mid 2nd to early 3rd right now IMO

He would look good if Bills moved down in rd 2

      I prefer Michael Jenkins

Pro Fottball Weekly has him ranked 10th out of 134 and Mel Kiper Jr has him 13th out of 143, Sporting News has him 14th out of 71.

i thought you guys wanted a "speed" receiver that stretches the field.. colbert is a 100% possession receiver.

He runs a 4.4 he is not a 100% possesion guy.

I agree our early 2nd would be a stretch.

since when does colbert run a 4.4?

did you watch usc last year? colbert was a possession guy and williams was the deep stud.

Colbert ran a 4.4 at his wokout.

Williams is the slower of the 2.

Actually you could say that Colberts speed opened up things for Williams.

well.. your right, i see he clocked a 4.43, which is must faster than i thought he ran.. i thought he was more of a rashawn woods.. but he definately was not used as a deep threat in the games i watched last year.

                      i stand corrected.

I agree. The guy seems to have a great attitude, but if he ran a 4.4 his name would have been brought up a lot more.

so if he runs a 4.43, and is a great deep threat, and has great hands and a great attitude.. why is he considered a late first day guy?

sporting news has him down for a 4.43.. so he obviously ran something close to it.. but it poses a good question.. why is he ranked so low?
