View Full Version : Did anyone hear Jaworski's take on Rivers?

I just got a jist of what he was saying. He was basically saying that Rivers cannot consistantly make the throws an NFL quarterback needs to make. I can't quote you, but it wasn't anything good.

Anyone hear this on Simon?

I found some info on his site:

JP Losmon has more upside than Rivers? Interesting.

I heard it...and I was glad someone finally said it. I really really hope the Bills don't blow a pick in round 1 for Phillip Rivers, although I wouldn't mind Big Ben :D

You guys that are in love with Rivers crack me up. Everyone throws up smokescreens and lies about prospects, but everyone is telling the absolute truth about Rivers.

I'd rather have Big Ben too but I think ending up with Rivers, Losman or Shaub would be fine.

Nah im not naive, every QB in the game today especially rookies have flaws.

But I certainly wouldnt call Rivers 2nd round talent.

I generally respect Jaws and his comments. He is usually right on. I don't know on this one though, I have heard him praise Rivers in the past.

I haven't listen to Jaworski since he thought that Ryan Leaf had a much better upside and thought and I quote, "The Colts made a huge mistake by taking Manning 1st." He was right on with that, I believe he also had Akli Smith rated as his highest qb a few years ago. There's a simple reason Jaws has been turned down for every scouting job he applied for he sucks at it.

Notice, I said generally...He is usually good for relaying news and not always 100% when it comes to scouting talent and things like that but him judging arm strength is a little easier then judging someone's upside....Don't you think?

Didn't 90% of "experts" think Ryan Leaf was better than Peyton. Yeah, I know, NOT ME!!!!!
