View Full Version : Mike Williams to Buffalo?

But Mike Williams, with his very average speed and a good, but far-from-great workout, might linger on the board even longer. Most personnel men now have him going somewhere in the teens, with No. 13 Buffalo said to be zeroing in him. If that's the case, he'll barely edge out Washington receiver Reggie Williams, who most consider the safe pick for San Francisco at No. 16.

ESPN has reported numerous times his 40 times were 4.45 and 4.53

Even better then. All I know is the guy holds USC All-Time record for TD receptions and he did that while only being a sophmore.

He ran 4.6's on his pro day...Not really interested in Keyshawn jr. in the first round.

Mike Williams is the Bill of the day? I swear, everyday ESPN writers say someone different. I am really getting sick of these writers. I heard from this guys second cousin's best friend that the Bills are going to draft Mike Williams, I have to write that down!!!!

Bigger and faster than Keyshawn no matter what hsi pro day indicates an dalso has broken some of Keyshawns record and did it as a Sophmore.

Screw 40 times, they are overrated. Look at the game tape, and his attention to detail and routes. I'ts like Mark Schlereth said. If a 4.3 40 guy is out there not knowing whic route he is running, he is now a 4.9 40 runner. I hate 40 times, they mean Jack!!!! Now that said, I don't know much about M Williams.

Exactly track stars aren't football players.

i agre Danny... for a receiver I think the game is 90% mental and 10% physical. some guys might be fast as hell, but don't know how to get open.

Whats the story on Williams as far as character and smarts? I know he has the skills. Has he had any problems?

He'd die for his teammates. But he is a little immature at times, speaks his mind. I think part of that is because he is still so young, and he will grow out of it. BUt he definately has a little immaturity in him now.

he's never had any issues with the law or gotten in trouble or anything like that.

Would you want him for the Bills in the first round?

of course! :D

Honestly, I've watched the guy make plays for 2 years. he's been unstoppable. He runs people over, he's way to physical for corners, and he CAN go deep and gets up and catches the ball. Don't let the avereage 40 time scare you away-he's a football player.

Mike Williams goes up and gets the ball most all of the time, SoCal is right, he is a beast. I think Donahoe will be apprehensive because of his age and only two years in college.

There are sooo many great possible outcomes of this draft, let's get on with it already!

Same here! ;) Tommy Harris or Big Ben (maybe Rivers) would be great picks too.
