Spoon tore a bicep in camp in 2002, and was cut in 2003, replaced when we brought in Spikes, Posey, and drafted Haggan and Crowell.

Injuries robbed Reggie Germany at a fair shot, and if Tyrone Robertson kept his nose clean, he's have been a steal. I guess there is a reason he fell to rd 7

I know what happened to him. But did Spoon ever get picked up? I would have thought the Chargers or the Falcons would have been interested in him naturally.

atleast hes doing something, it would have been a shame if he was out of the nfl just bc he got cut by us. he seemed like he was atleast a descent backup/special teamer

i agree.that injury put a damper on his situation real quick though.he was quickly becoming one of my favorite players too.the kid showed heart....something that this team lacked at that time.

Spoon's strength was being a workhorse and a workout freak just like Wire. Word was he lost that fire that's why he was cut.

Q: What teams have shown the most interest in you?

T.H.: The Eagles, Bears, and Panthers have been pretty interested, but I've spoken to alot of teams.

Q: What was your favorite team growing up?

T.H.: The Buffalo Bills. Even though they couldn't win the big game, they were always my team. I loved Thurman Thomas.

Q: Would you like to play there now?

T.H.: (laughing) I don't know about that now.
