NFL.com does not show that there will be any Thursday game.

That's wierd.... usually during World Series week they move the Sunday Game and give ya an extra on Thursday night instead,,,

I don't see any more thursday night games. That sucks. I guess they blew their wad opening the season on Thursday. I still say there should be a thursday game every week and never a week off with the sunday night game.

Someone told me that there is an "agreement" to not play a Sunday night game against the W.S. game, they wouldn't want the two games to "compete" for viewers... "rolleyes"

well, it's gonna bite them in the ass. I wonder how the Game 7 going up against the NFL will affect ratings of one or the other.

I'm not a very big baseball fan either but I always try to watch the WS and I sure enjoyed last nights game. The Angels were dead and being mowed down then all of a sudden BANG and they were off. You couldn't have scripted it better.

ummm Halbert, Pride ... this thread was for LAST Sunday.... and the reasoning I gave was just what I was told... I don't know if it was the real reason or not. I was just commenting on it cause I was gone all last week.........

I think there's a WS game tonight just like last night. Maybe the NFL agreed to go easy on major league baseball and not compete on a Sunday evening when they know there'll be a WS game. You can't predict a seven game series so the NFL probably refused to avoid a second possible conflict. I've watched about 5 minutes of the WS so far. I know they're tied 3-3 but not much more. I might switch back and forth some this evening, but I'll see more football. MOre action.
