ESPN Reporting the NFL has been granted a stay in the Clarett case...

Just saw them talking about it on ESPN's draft special that's on right now. Apparantly, Clarett can still appeal and hope it gets to the supreme court before the weekend... but the report is right now that the sophomores will probably not be in the draft with things as they stand now...

Just thought I'd let you all know.

This is huge for San Diego- they could in theory select #1, then they own the #1 in the supplimental draft. They get 2 top picks!!!

I can see them drafting Manning #1, then Mike Williams in the supplimental draft....BOOOO!!!!

That's only if they're put into the supplemental draft. IMHO, they don't belong in the draft. I think it's bad for the game and I think it's bad for their lives.

Would they lose their #1 next year?

For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.

Williams has already lost his eligibility by hiring an agent if this stay is true then his career is in jeporady for at least one season

I don't think it is funny for Mike Williams. He should be allowed in the draft or at least be allowed back on USCs team. It's not fair to leave him in limbo not being allowed to play in college but also not being allowed to go pro. Thats BS.

As far as Clarett goes.........screw him....he's an a-hole anyway.

Mike Williams was stupid to come out this year anyhow, with all the other great WR's.
