Why not swing for the fences?

Deal with the Raiders to go out and get Manning.

Trade them Henry or McGahee and our #1.

because manning is no better a prospect than any of the other three qbs and we could keep our rb and pick.

Manning is the leap pipe cinch in this crowd. Let's go for it and grab the brass ring.

We need a franchise QB. I sick and f**king tired of all the @#%# crap we've had since Kelly. I dunno how TD could ever do it, but I'd pretty much support almost any scenario to get Manning.

I'll take a QB with the career numbers that Bledsoe has.

I dont know EE , i think it'd cost us more than that.

                  a move from 13 to 2 would cost us the 13th pick + Henry/McGahee + a high draft pick next year, something like a 1st or a 2nd.

I dont know if id want to risk losing all those picks and a RB especially with a deep QB draft..

You can always find examples of where it didn't work out as expected, but then again you can find some where it did. Doesn't mean you never take the chance. Roll the dice. If you win, you win big. Look at Indy with Peyton. And if you lose, hey at least you gave it a shot. Just ask SD how they feel about Vick. Sure they still hurt from Leaf, but if they had grabbed Vick they'd have forgotten all about him by now. It is all a game of chance.

Damn glad you don't run the team.

Yeah, everybody is laughing at Atlanta for having the balls to go out and get Michael Vick.

OK guys, we'll settle for the guy with a f'ed up release in round 1 or some other later round garbage.

Manning is there to be had to whoever is bold enough to step up to the plate.

manning is not near the athlete or difference maker that vick is.. vick is capable of dominating a game with NO talent around him.. NO offensive line.. NO wrs.. NO rbs.. vick can still do it.

manning is going to need a complete team on offense just like peyton or any other statue qb.
