How would you guys feel about packaging a 4th this year and a 1st next year to get ourselves another first rounder this year? I think with the deepness of this draft, you have to try and do something like this. :feedback:

I would do it but I doubt we would find a team to do it. They all know it's a deep draft too.

I'd rather trade down to gain additional draft picks rather than give any current and future picks away.

Last year Baltimore had to give up a 2004 first rounder and a 2003 second rounder to get the Pats 2003 late first rounder. You would probably have to do something similar, using a second this year. However at that point you're probably better off just making the second round pick and keeping your first next year.

Since this years draft has such "depth" doesn't that mean that quality players can be found later in the draft? Why the need to trade up?

The draft is not deep at every postion. QB and WR are the deepest in years they say, but after that??
