                uh, neither....

the had won five in a row before today. Which means they swept us last year and in 2000, and took one game in 99.

Damn it SoCalBillsFan!! I had already second guessed myself about the year. Then you make me triple guess myself lol!
:hammeru: I had to dig to find out. The sweep was in 99 I wrote about it on the other site back then. I knew I wasn't going crazy yet.

I thought it was 6 in a row. Or was that in Miami?

I think that was in Green Bay.

It was in 99 - Marino's last year, the year when Marino, and Jimmy Johnson (the coach, not the running back) weren't getting along. We beat them once in Miami 23-18 with Flutie at Quarterback, and in Buffalo, we beat them 23-3. We went into overtime that year against the patriots in New England, then we beat the Pats 17-7 in Buffalo (actually it was the other way around - we played them in Buffalo first). It was Homerun Throwback year - and the dumb seahawks got to host the Dolphins in Seattle even though both the Bills and the Titans both had better records then the the fish and the seahawks. I think they should change that part of the playoffs - so what if you won a division, you should have to go on the road if a wildcard team has a better record then you, and play them in their city.

And by the way, I predicted that the Bills would sweep the fish that year too. I've got a newspaper clipping of a picture of John Holecek forcing the Dan Marino fumble that was picked up by Gabe Northern and ran back for a touchdown.

I won $10 that year (five from both miami Buffalo games thanks to a Fish fan in one of my classes).
