All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
williams and clarrett are done. the supreme court has turned down their request. to my understanding, per espn radio, there will be no change in this ruling before saturdays draft.
there is a slim chance that they may get in a supplimental draft.
in other news.
Travis Brown has been resigned.

While it hurts Buffalo in the draft since Williams would of most likely been drafted before the #13 pick and making another player for Buffalo to choose from I am happy for the sake of the league.
THey could let him in because he aplied for the draft through aa process set up by the NFL and was declared eligible by the NFL, unlike MC who filed a suit in court. Because Williams was never in any litigation, he could argue that he went through the NFL's own process, and therefor the NFL cannot deny him entry now by changing the rules after the fact.
NOt saying that it SHOULD happen, just that it could.
yeah, ESPN said it had something to do with Williams seperating himself form the "Clarrett Rule" by saying that he didn't intend on coming out until the NFL invited him to workout and his advisors assuring him that he'd be in the draft. Basically turning it back on the league and asking "why did you mislead me into thinking I'd enter the draft".
I heard they are talking to Bruce Mathison about a comeback to be Bledsoes backup

Quarterback Travis Brown re-signed with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday after accepting the team's contract tender.
Brown spent the last three years as the Bills third-stringer, but missed most of last season because of a dislocated finger on his throwing hand injured during a preseason game.
Brown was released by Buffalo in September after reaching an injury settlement, but then re-signed with the team in December.... more
